Sunquest also cancelled their direct flights out of Thunder Bay. My Fiance and I had 30+ guests booked for a destination wedding in the Dominican. We received the same dreaded phone call from our travel agent informing us that the fight was cancelled. We waited in agony for several weeks to find out what alternative plans Sunquest would put together for us and we heard absolutely nothing from them. Thankfully we have an excellent agent who recommended we rebook with a competitor that picked up direct flights out of Thunder Bay. The alternative would have been to wait almost another month for Sunquest’s alternative solution which included a 10+ hour layover in Toronto and arriving in the Dominican after midnight. I caution anyone considering a destination wedding through Sunquest, they obviously don’t care about customer service. They can and will cancel arrangements at any time without warning or adequate communication. They caused us to have to rebook everything for our wedding, including having to resend out all our wedding invitations with rescheduled details. Caused us considerable stress and expense and even after a formal letter of complaint to their customer service department, I have yet to hear from any representative of Sunquest, even if just to say sorry.
