  1. Ebli23- Not sure if you've had a response yet about travel arrangements but I am using a travel agent (Liberty Travel). With Liberty Travel all you have to do is put down a deposit and make payments up until two months before the departure date. Hope this helps. We also have been looking at deals online through Orbitz, Expedia, Travelocity etc. Pretty reasonable prices but the cheapest airfare were all connecting flights and that does not work for us. We are getting married at the Majestic next year in May. Hope this helps. Cathy
  2. I visited the Majestic Elegance two weeks ago and booked my wedding for May 25, 2012. The resort is gorgeous!!!! Just wanted to get feedback from all the ladies that have gotten married there this past year. I want to know how the time line of their even went. I am just curious because I am scheduled to have my symbolic ceremony at 11AM. My dinner is not until 6-6:30PM party at 8PM. Any other feed back is welcomed. Need to know if you hired the hotel DJ? Cathy

  4. Hi all: After visitng the Majestic Elegance over two weeks ago. I booked the Majestic Elegance May 25, 2012 at 11 AM for my symbolic ceremony. I am a bit worried about the huge gap in between the ceremony (11AM) and the dinner & party (6:30-11 PM). Any suggestions on how I can arrange the time line of events? Wondering if anyone else had the same issue. Also need tips on how to pick venue. Not sure if I want the dinner in the restaurant or a private dinner. I may have 45-60 guests. May be more cost effective to have the dinner that at the restaurant versus private dinner. How was the hotel DJ? Did anyone use the photographer at the resort? I am sure I will have additional questions. Will start with these for now. Thanks in advance. Cathy
