  6. Hi Ladies! I haven't posted very often, but I found this site to be a great resource during the wedding planning process. Just returned from Aruba where we had an amazing time!! I can't stop looking at all the gorgeous pictures our friends and family captured! We were married on Divi Beach, and had our reception at Pure Beach for ~40 people. I had all sorts of questions and concerns...planning a wedding on "Caribbean time" when you're used to different standards, whether or not to wear a veil in spite of the wind, the civil ceremony process, trashing the dress, ceremony music, ipod use for the cocktail reception, etc. Realized that you really do just have to go with the flow and try not to panic when it seems like you're still finalizing details 1 month out (eeek...I know), the wind was perfect on our wedding day and I was soooo glad I went with my gut and bought the veil anyway, and was really glad we did the civil ceremony there. Feel free to email me with any questions [email protected]
  7. Your song list looks very similar to my own And we're using "Stay with you" for our first dance too!
  8. Edwina is really nice and has the right supplies. However, be prepared for plenty of delays in response times. If you're the type of person who likes to stay on top of things and know that progress is being made, she may be difficult to work with...although this seems to be a common theme among Caribbean wedding planners. We're 5 months out and there are very few things booked that we haven't booked ourselves. Learning to go with the flow...Good luck!
  9. Hello! Has anyone worked with E2 Aruba Events? Things seemed to be going smoothly until we paid our deposit ("caribbean time" aside). Any info on previous experiences would be GREATLY appreciated!
