I'm getting married at the GPJ in February, 2011 and I wanted to see if anyone else has decided on doing the private reception? Is it worth the $45 per person? I was also informed that you have to pay $300 an hour for a DJ/speakers/microphone etc. Is there a charge for no DJ, but just an ipod hook up? If so, how's the sound? Has anyone decided on the a la carte restaurant? If so, are you going to do anything for a first dance, speeches etc? I'm having a hard time justifying paying $45 per person plus $300 per hour for something you already get for free at an all inclusive. I have 28 people coming so far, and I think possibly more. Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions would be great. Thanks!
