My fiance and I are in the process of searching somewhat close destinations for our wedding. We are both from NYC. We contemplated Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Rhode Island and Maine, but for some reason or another, they never worked out. We recently checked out places in Lake George and Saratoga Springs. We both agreed on a venue - Saratoga National Golf Course. However, now I am getting cold feet in the destination department. Part of me thinks that Saratoga Springs is a somewhat "random" location for a destination wedding. Plus, I'm not really familiar with the area. Has anyone had their destination wedding in or around Saratoga Springs, or in Lake George....or have you been to a wedding in either of these locations....or have you even ever been on vacation to Saratoga Springs? If so, what's the appeal? Â Thank you!!
