I am also getting married at Barcelo on November 10th - we are hoping to do a beach reception and dance as well! Just waiting to hear back from Violeta to finalize everything! How has your experience been so far? I am trying to lock down all the "extra" prices from Violeta right now - it seems that the cost can go way up and we are just trying to figure that all out!

thank you so much for sharing this. What did you girls think of Riu Tropical Bay? We are seriously looking into that resort... hoping to get married around November 2010... ANY advice??! What was the resort like? I am so nervous to plan something and bring a big group of people to a place I have never been!!! Just want this to be magical!!

Hi everyone! I just joined this site because I am newly engaged and planning a destination wedding - and need all the help I can get!! I feel so overwhelmed!
