My name is barbie, and my hubby and I got married Sept. 26, 2009 in Las Vegas. We delayed our honeymoon until Christmas time. My husband and I spent a week in St. Lucia at the Sandlas Grande Resort for our honeymoon! Everything was amazing! The island is absolutely gorgeous! The people there are the friendliest, happiest, high on life people we have ever met! Being with them was truly a life-changing experience! The resort was beautiful! We stayed in one of the rondovals and had a butler...actually 3...different butler for each shift. The butlers were awesome! They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, memorable, stress free, and romantic! They scheduled different excursions for us, made dinner reservations, and catered to our every need. We took a jeep tour that was a blast, went whale and dolphin watching, shopping, and a even a heliocopter ride! Each night with the turn down service, there was a dessert on our bed and nice things like flowers, flower petals, candles, etc. One night, they even surprised us with a bubble bath! We had a candle light dinner on the beach...it was wonderful! We totally fell in love with the island, the people, the resort, and the staff! We even made friends while we were there! We will never forget our amazing honeymoon! Thank you, Sandlas!! Also, we saw a few weddings while we were there. They were beautiful, and everyone seemed very happy with their experience! We also met a couple who got married there...they were very happy with everything! If you're trying to plan a honeymoon or destination wedding....this is the perfect place!
