Anybody use Video Punta Cana for their wedding? I just saw a great video on FB from them was curious how much they cost. Also do we have to pay that fee in order for them to shoot on site ($300?)? I like BrightLights which is part of the resort but not as much as Video Punta Cana.

Hey CnC, I'm using an outside photographer because I wasn't a fan of the quality. Not that they don't do a good job but I didn't go "wow those are amazing photos!" One of the important aspects of my wedding is the photography and I don't mind spending a little extra if it produces the beautiful photos to look back on for years to come. A lot of brides are using Photo Phil, Michael Steingard, or Josh Brown and sharing the cost of travel with other brides that are getting married around the same time. Photosouvenir is also another company that does a great job and they are based in Punta Cana. I hope this helps! Best of luck =)

I agree with Lauren on picking one side to book on. I visited the resort in May of 2008 and the weather was perfect! I am booking the Elegance side because they have an option for your wedding should it rain (i'm getting married next September which is rainy season) as opposed to the colonial side plus I know the Elegance is a step above colonial. I like your idea of switching sides after the wedding...I would totally recommend that if we weren't going to Europe after our wedding. This is a fantastic resort and I fell in love with it instantly. May is a perfect month, wish you all the best!!! =)

Yay!!! So excited we just confirmed our date at the Elegance - Sept 18th, 2010 at 2pm! Now it's time to decide which Photographer to use...so many to choose from!
