  1. I am recommending BN Fotografia (Eli and Juan) for a wedding photographer in Ixtapa. They were outstanding and went above and beyond to get natural pictures, capturing moments as they happened. They were everything we could ask for. We also got the copyrights to the pictures and video, which is a huge bonus in printing your own pictures. They were very affordable also. We were on a budget and their work was as good and if not better than most high priced photographers. I cannot say enough about how the communication with them was also very outstanding.
  2. Hey forum! My fiance and I are wondering if it is worth having an official wedding in Mexico or getting legally married in the U.S. and have a religious/ceremonial wedding in Mexico. It looks like it's going to cost over $1000 total for the legal wedding official in Mexico. This is information from our resort. We would like to keep our wedding date 3/10/10 as our wedding date but are unsure if it is worth it. Are we able to get a marriage license in the U.S. and have a wedding in Mexico while still having the date on our marriage license be 3/10/10? Should I shop around? We are not sure what the options are. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!
  3. I am looking for white chair covers, used or new. Does anybody have any they are trying to sell? I am looking for around 200, but any would do. Our reception is in May '09. Thanks!
  4. Hey forum! I am the fiance in charge of working getting the invitations done for our wedding. My bride is gutsy! I am thinking of doing a doing an invite with a sunset picture with our names in the sand with the wedding date surrounded by a heart that our photographer already took in Ixtapa. This idea isn't original but I liked it. I am looking to see if anybody knows a great love quote that has to do with sunsets. I am open for any suggestions on making the invitations unique. Also we don't feel the need for the STD cards. Is that a bad idea? Thanks for any help!

Happy to help. I think we will be having a great time doing whatever we do. We are very excited for this wedding! My fiance's mother has a timeshare there so she is familiar and corresponding with some management (mainly Antonio). We are trying to decide on whether or not to get a photographer while down there. I see you area a photographer down in the Ixtapa area. Would I be able to get some quotes on your services?
  6. Hey all! New to the forum. Getting married in Ixtapa at the Pacifica resort in March. Looking forward to it. Any helpful hints on how to entertain 30+ people would be helpful. Also any wedding planning tips for Ixtapa would be beneficial. Thanks!
