Hey!
I'm kind of late getting on this forum because I just got back from my wedding and honeymoon at the Riu Palace in Cabo. Let me know if you have any questions or I can help. Everything turned out perfect. If you have a beach wedding, I would suggest you try to get the late ceremony time (it was already booked for my day).
Quick details:
June 6, 2009
4:00 pm Beach Ceremony
4:30-6:30 Cocktail Reception with Mexican Canapes at the Baja Norte Bar
6:30-11:00 Private Dinner Reception at the Mexican Terrace
I've posted all of the pictures online at http://dixoncabowedding.shutterfly.com/
Mango did an amazing job with the photography and videography, for much cheaper than what it would cost in the states.
Few other quick notes: May was a very bad month for Cabo and we were told that 2/3 of the weddings were cancelled due to people being scared of the flu. This meaning, there is probably a lot of negotiation room on prices right now. If you get a chance to venture to town, I highly suggest eating at Maria Corona and if you want to venture out to the best view in all of Cabo have a sunset dinner at the Sunset da Mona Lisa (scrimpy portions, but worth the once in a lifetime view)
Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions. My husband goes to Cabo at least once a year so we felt like this was a great, safe, and beautiful place to begin our lives together.
