jredding

I am looking at a wedding at South Seas Island Captiva but must get married in a Catholic Church to please a bunch of people. I heard that St. Isabel on Sanibel only allows members of the parish to marry there or friends of parish members, is this true? If so does anyone know what it takes to become a member? I really want to get married there but a church is a requirement and the only other closest church is over an hour away in Ft Myers! Any help would be great!
