hey guys... i think it's important to remember that coming to a destination wedding is a HUGE financial commitment from our friends and family...and i really don't think we can fault them or think they are selfish for not coming. I'm also keeping my fingers crossed that some of my and my fiancees' friends will come (many are excited and SAY they will come)...but we are preparing ourselves for the reality that it just might not be possible for many of them.

Majestic Elegance in Dominican Republic was amazing...but too $$ for my guests. Trying to find a place in the $1500 (including tax) range. I'll check out the Barcelo Maya Palace that you guys are mentioning. thanks!!

Hi everyone, I'm Justine, getting married (hopefully) and the majestic Elegance on June 28th, 2010. Not sure i'm happy with the prices right now vs. Grand Riviera Princess...but i'm looking to book outside of Mexico. Anyone married at the Majestic Elegance that would have feedback about it? I was quoted $1597 +$319 tax. thanks!
