Hi guys, My name is Kim, and my fiance and I are eloping in early March. We don't have a specific date - it'll depend on the travel plans - but the problem is we don't have specific travel plans! We've primarily looked at Mexico - in the Cabo area. (Yes, I'll be posting on that forum pretty quickly!). I also researched Jamaica and pretty much the whole caribbean. My one requirement is for the ceremony to be on a beach. However - the number of places, hotels, all inclusive, room only, yada yada yada is completely overwhelming! We don't want to be in the middle of spring breakers or families (we're leaving our children at home). But on the other hand we want to be close enough to town so that we don't pay through the nose for meals at the hotel we're staying... or can just go wander a bit. The places that are out of the way a little bit seem to be pretty expensive, and we're really trying to keep our costs reasonable. We're planning about 4 full days of being there, 5 nights. Our ceremony will only be the two of us plus any required witnesses. My biggest hurdle is just figguring out WHERE!
