I have been a bridesmaid 3 times and purchased my dress each time. My girls are also buying theirs for my wedding.
  3. Does anyone have an updated map of the resort you can send to me? Thank you!!!
  4. Just so everyone knows, I was just told by Tiffany that they have implemented a new policy of NO OUTSIDE PHOTOGRAPHERS whatsoever. They are no longer accepting outside vendor fees for anyone. Because we booked our outside photographer in November and my wedding is in 15 weeks we were able to keep ours. Just an update!

I have a site visit planned for this weekend. The didn't give me any sort of discount. I was rather surprised myself. I was told that this is the high season, and that is why I wasn't given a deal. I still felt like I had to get down there to see it all in person though, so we sucked it up. I have an appointment on Saturday with Honey, the on site planner. Hopefully I will see some weddings in action since it is Valentines Day weekend. Either way, we are excited!
  6. Hey ladies. Anyone who has already had their reception on the beach, or to those who are planning to. I am just thinking about the dance floor, and if the sand causes it to be slippery. I don't want everyone falling down all over the place! Any thoughts or tips?

Ladies, have any of you decided how you're going with the menu and would you mind sharing? I got the idea to leave the dessert off the menu and just have the cake for dessert, which I think is a good idea... We are doing the private cocktail party and the petite buffet for our reception, and also wanted to leave off the desserts since we will have the wedding cake. But then I feel like maybe we should keep them since we are paying for them either way... But again, it will be so much food! So in the end I think we will leave them off. This way we won't be wasting money on the cake.

It took a really long time, but the food was great! It seems like things keep getting better and better... The rest of the resort is gorgeous, and I can say that once I was there, I changed my mind on a lot of things. First, I am opting for the sky wedding--it is worth the money in my opinion and it will be more private. Second, I am going to do the reception outside on the terrace of Zoloco. It is so neat how it over looks the ocean and there is plenty of room to have tables and a dance floor. I feel like this space above all captures the essence of why I wanted to do a destination wedding. Laid back, warm and inviting. Sorry I haven't posted a review yet, I was swamped at work when I got back and with the holidays I haven't had time. I will get something put together this weekend. Feel free to message me with any specific questions. I didn't know about the terrace of Zocolo for a reception. How many people will you have at your reception? I'm just curious as to how many people it holds. I can't wait to read your review! I will be there in February for a site inspection as well. I can't wait to see it in person.

Plus, I think trying to find another resort and trying to make the switch would be stressful in itself. I am going to stop stressing and keep planning. I feel relieved having made the decision, and I think we will be happy in the long run. Happy Holidays!!

I know that Mexicanbridewithquestions (Abby) has switched, is there anyone else that is feeling the same way and really looking into some place else? I have been feeling the same way. I really don't know what we are going to do yet. But I just sent an email to my TA and to Tiffany, asking about switching to another resort. I just want to know of all of my options. I really am just hoping that everything will get better at the Sensatori, but on the other hand I feel like it is a gamble. This is seriously stressful! I am a pretty laid back bride, and haven't been concentrating on all of the negative reviews, but they just keep coming. I just want it all to work out for all of us!!

They said that we can't have music at the garden rooftop so that is a definate NO because we have to have music. Has anyone heard of other options for the reception. I am thinking of changing to a full sit down dinner as this is getting way more complicated than I expected. Ideas I can't believe that there is no music allowed on the rooftop. I just emailed Tiffany saying that I wanted the rooftop and didn't hear anything about not having music. I definitely don't want that. We need the music and dancing! Did Fabio tell you this?
