Thank you all for the greetings! As far as local tips, the Melia Cabo Real is located in the Los Cabos area which is nice if you are looking for a honeymoon location near the beach where you are not constantly interrupted by vendors selling items. The resort has an all-inclusive option that includes all meals and drinks. This option also allows you to use the resorts snorkel gear, kayaks, tennis rackets, boogie boards, etc. There is also a shuttle bus that goes to the main town if desired. The Melia San Lucas is another alternative if you like a location that is within walking distance of the restaurants and clubs within the main town. We actually prefer the Melia Cabo Real as you have more privacy while having the option to visit either Los Cabos or the main town.

We enjoyed our honeymoon in Mexico so we purchased a timeshare unit the following year through the Melia Cabo Real Resort.
