I can clearly undestand your reasons. All of my party willbe staying at the resort. My fiance is Jamaican but his family is all in the states, except for his grandmother. She may not be able to make the trip to Ocho Rios so we will probably travel to see her. I think I am going to give the wc at Riu a try. Contacting the priest this week to see if they have worked with the hotel. Crossing my fingers! Your wedding and reception sound awesome. Hopefully you can share pictures! Anxious to see your review!

Thanks for the info. I checked out the wc website you chose. Great pictures. Hope you don't mind my asking, but why did you choose a wc outside the hotel?

My TA is checking into the Riu for me. We will have about 35 people with us, so the Plantation is my first choice. My only concern is the wc. I need someone who will coordinate the transportation to and from the church, church flowers, photos and all that. I'm sure the Riu would do it, but just not sure. Crossing fingers!
