Recommended Posts

Hi ladies and gents, I have been looking for vendors and i got nothing but older posting and no longer working info.

Getting married cheer2.gifIn Nov.8th.2013 In a Villa (conchas chinas)

So far Ive contacted wedding planners but everything is off my price range, i wish i had the money to hire them because they are all really great and have an amazing eye for design.

Im going for vintage mexican,  I'm all for the locals profiting and maybe hire a person to coordinate the day off.

Im looking for:

CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 70

Taquero to arrange a mexican buffet style for up to 100 people

Rental places for any type of mexican chairs and tables(not particular chairs but similar)

700

Any vendors that rent out lights (the actual house that im using)

700

Any other flee markets in puerto vallarta would be great, i speak full spanish and can call anyone from san diego!!!

And a dj rental equipment:

700

THANK IN ADVANCE...SO MUCH TO DO AND YOUR HELP IS SO VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!

Sorry, I missed that you already mentioned up to 100 people.  I guess I found it reasonable because I will have closer to 40.  The quote I received for the mexican buffet style setup was 1300 for 40 people (32.50pp).  This includes food, 1 or 2 waiters (i don't remember), a bartender, and setup of the equipment like tables, table cloths, dishes, etc..

Which vendor did you find?
Are you getting married at a villa? If you don't mind sharing the info you've found - I'd really appreciate it.

I am coming in July to find a villa, caterer, hair/makeup, dj, photographer, etc. So to be able to come with some more knowledge is always great. I really appreciate it.

I'm actually getting married at Villa Celeste, the same villa that Taquito posted.  And since chef service is included with the Villa rental I decided to use them for the reception.  I am using Eva and Michael of Vallarta Weddings as my planner, so they are coordinating everything for me.  I thought their prices were fairly reasonable.  You can contact them and give them a brief explanation of what you are looking for and they will send you a pretty detailed price estimate.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
