Hi Girls,

 

I've been looking through this site for a few weeks since our engagement but decided to start my own thread :)  My fiance and I got engaged Nov 5 at the Iberostar Ensenachos...our second time there.  We absolutely love it and are thinking of booking our wedding there in April 2014 as it now has a very special place in our hearts.

 

In looking through the posts, it doesn't seem like a lot of couples chose Cuba, which has me a bit worried.  Has anyone been married or been to a wedding at the Ensenachos?  I would love to hear your feedback :)

 

I've been obsessing over trip advisor since we've been engaged and the reviews have been terrible lately (for the past month)!  The posts used to be mainly 5 out of 5 with rave reviews.  It really has me worried because I am so concerned that some of our guests won't be happy.  I do realize you can't make everyone happy, but I want to be sure we are picking the right place and in my heart, that's the place, but I'd be embarrased if any of our guests went on trip advisor now!! 

 

Would love to hear from anyone who's had an experience at (or even in Cuba) this resort!

Welcome Jessica! 

 

We got engaged Oct. 27, 2011 and are planning a March 2013 wedding. I'd say you have the perfect timeframe to get everything in order. 

 

Keep an open mind and also remember that you will probably change your mind 20 times on what exactly you want. I would suggest waiting until much closer to your wedding to finalize details.

Congrats Jessica1977! + welcome to our forum community :) you'll find tons of resources here, with lots of suggestions, advice + support from all your fellow brides. My thoughts are that if you know in your heart you've picked the right place, then.......it's the Right Place.....yeh!

In my experience I've found that your heart doesn't lie.......so relax and know that you're off to a great start!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
