Hi ladies!  I am planning on getting married in November at Sandals Royal Bahamian.  I am really not picky, nor do I need 300 pictures of my wedding.  Online I see that the cheapest package is $1200.  Do they offer a package where I can just get 10-15 pictures, or do I have to pay 1200 to use any of the Sandals photographers?

Also, our wedding is at 10am.  We have two guest coming from another resort that we are purchasing day passes for.  I didn't know if anyone has had luck being able to pay for the guest to come in to the resort at 8am, instead of 9am.  It is my future sister-in-law, and I would like her to be able to help me get ready and I feel like getting there at 9am is pushing it!

Thank you so much in advance for all the advice :)

HI,

I am getting married at Sandals Royal Bahamian also! I am doing it in June actually. From what I understand, there are other packages. I have been trying to find out more about this myself. I could swear I saw one for like 36 5x7 pictures. If you go to the Sandals website and click through the part where you can customize a wedding, look for where it says "photography" and then "Individual Items". Scroll through that and you'll eventually see the package for 36 prints for $750. You can also click on "Photography Print and CD packages" and see packages for less pictures, like 12 or 18 prints. I did not actually purchase photography for my wedding yet. I think I am going to wait til I get there if I can. I'm not really sure what I want to get and it all seems pretty expensive.

Anyway, I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any trouble finding the info on the website. Good luck and congratulations!!

Hi, I was wondering about this as well. I'm getting married at Sandals Royal Bahamian in October. It occurred to me that you still have to purchase the $1200 and up photography sessions and then you can get the photo prints and CD packages as extra. If that is the case it's really expensive and I'm reluctant to spend that much since it's going to be just me and my fiance (we're eloping!) I'm thinking about hiring an outside photographer to shoot a bride and groom session afterwards at another location so we can avoid the Sandals photography entirely. Maybe if it's just a short session at one location, the pricing would be more reasonable. I wonder if anyone else has done that.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
