I haven't heard of a Bonny. The only person I've had any dealings with other than the Westin is Edwina Werleman from E2. Her email is [email protected]. She is the nicest woman and she sincerely wants all brides to be happy. I wanted to rent lanterns and a chuppah from her and I got a price which was too high for me. She came down in her price and is willing to negotiate. I would HIGHLY recommend her. If I were you I would email her just to get a feel from her. I think you'll be surprised how much she wants to help.

We're getting married on October 20, 2011. I think they're a little behind because the wedding planner that was doing my wedding left. His name was Patrick and he was awesome. I met him in November when I went down for my site visit. They have replaced him but I think they're still trying to get it together. His boss is Inge van Roon and she is the one you'll be hearing from first. She's very nice also.

E2 is Edwina's business and she is a wedding planner. The Westin rents things from her - chairs, decor, etc. If I had to do it again I'd work exclusively with her.  PM IIf     If you want I'll pm you her info.

Edwina is really nice and has the right supplies. However, be prepared for plenty of delays in response times. If you're the type of person who likes to stay on top of things and know that progress is being made, she may be difficult to work with...although this seems to be a common theme among Caribbean wedding planners. We're 5 months out and there are very few things booked that we haven't booked ourselves. Learning to go with the flow...Good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
