First off I wanted to thank every person on here who takes the time to post because I have been looking all over and have found lots of answers here. I have lots of question and please help by answering them. First Id like to introduce myself my name is deidre and I will be getting married at riu ocho rios may 2010, i just came back in may and feel in love with it. The wedding person there is very hard to get in touch with and i understand she is busy buy i have questions about prices that are not listed here and was hoping you can help

1. I hear lots about a photographer byt the name of micheal. How much does he charge?

2. Can you choose your own wedding cake or do they choose for you and if so what are the prices?

3. do they have a plan B if it rains

4. How much are the flowers and rose pedals

5. Are chairs included

6. are there different arches and what are the prices

7. how much are chair covers

8. how much is the disco hall to rent out

9.can someone send me the dinner menu?

As I mentioned in your Newbie thread, searching and reading existing threads on your resort of choice will provide the answers you are looking for. If you would like someone to expand on one related topic, please post in that existing thread. To help all present and future brides, we like to keep our threads to a minimum which makes searching topics MUCH easier.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
