Hi everyone!!! I thought I would try to sway those of you who had not picked a destination yet!!!

 

I was watching Platinum weddings the other day and happened to catch an episode where a couple in Dallas rented a private estate in Cabo, with a wedding location that looked very similar to mine- however, mine was much cheaper! smile120.gif Check out the link to their show, with new episodes airing soon on WeTV!!!

So- on to the important stuff!!! I have posted a ton of info on the Beach Palace under the accommodations thread, but thought I would encourage people to go and check it out. I have not encountered many brides actually getting married here- only 1 actually and have yet to figure out why!

 

The Beach Palace is in the hotel zone- close to shopping, restaurants, night clubs, etc. and is a member of the Palace family of resorts- but is a little smaller than some of the other resorts in the chain.

 

However, if you are a sand-between-the-toes bride, this is not the place for you! The wedding location is a terrace that is the highest point on the building- call it the 14th floor that overlooks almost all of Cancun- including the magnificant ocean!!! There is a 360' view of both the ocean and the lagoon from the terrace. The reception location is a sky terrace that is closed off to all non-wedding guests (one of my favorite parts!) There are two pools and two bars on the Sky Terrace- which would be all yours if you booked here. I am posting a teaser pic for anyone interested with a link to all of the other pics of the resort.

      Cabo Azul Wedding Cost / Review

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
