We booked Lincoln for our destination wedding on 11/13/16 at Moon Palace in Cancun.  Our original plan of booking a local Connecticut photographer to travel with us didn’t work out and we are so glad!

Although our resort offers an on sight vendor for photography, we wanted to do some research on external options as we weren’t super impressed with the work we saw.  We found a list of top Cancun photographers and after a little more digging, outreached to MTM and one other company. 

Lincoln was quick to respond and we scheduled a quick phone call to talk details and options.  Within the first two minutes of chatting on the phone, I felt this immediate connection to Lincoln and just knew I had to book him to capture our special day.  The booking process was seamless and we opted for the Gold package to ensure Lincoln himself would be photographing our wedding.  We also selected a video option-the combined package price was very competitive and well worth it!

We were given an information form that had us provide details of the family photos we wanted.  This was great because it sped up the formal photo process and allowed us to get more newlywed pictures in and even spend some time at cocktail hour.  In addition, we filled out a questionnaire that helps Lincoln understand your style and personality.  We loved this idea as it gives MTM the opportunity to know you given that you likely aren’t having any in person meetings prior to your destination wedding.  This also was an asset because from the moment Lincoln showed up at my door, it felt like we had established a rapport.  He and Silvina (who photographed the guys getting ready) were our team and they took some amazing and creative shots knowing this was a non-stop fun group!

Everyone was cracking jokes and Lincoln was right there with us!  He is also great at providing instructions and keeping people focused.  On the day of our wedding, my husband and I commented that we could already see the difference in Lincoln’s work vs the resort photographer.  There were other weddings taking place and the creativity of MTM was shining through.  We were thrilled that we ultimately went with a local photographer rather than someone from home.  Lincoln is very familiar with the sunset timing to coordinate for pictures and some unique locations on the resort for newlywed/first look photos.

Our guests are STILL raving about how wonderful Lincoln and Silvina are and how much fun they had with them!  We just recently received our pictures and video and they are beyond stunning.  People are blown away by the artistry and all the off the cuff, fun moments captured during the reception.  We are so grateful to have these memories to cherish forever.

Our only complaint about Lincoln is that he’s located in Mexico!  If only we lived closer to him so he could capture the future big moments in our lives like maternity and newborn!  (:
