I got married at the Barcelo Maya Palace on July 1st, 2015. One of the first things I looked for when we decided on a destination wedding was a great hair & makeup artist - I was extremely nervous about finding someone, and Melissa immediately put all my worries to rest! They were extremely responsive from the very beginning - which, when dealing with vendors for a destination wedding is SO helpful and important. All emails were typically answered within an hour - an impressive feat! Once there, I opted to have my trial at their place to avoid paying the vendor fee twice - they came to pick us up & drop us off, and even stopped at a shop along the way as my mom wanted to purchase small fans for guests and did not know where to go (very sweet of them!).

Finally - and most importantly - they did an AMAZING job on the hair & makeup both for myself & for my bridal party - they were able to achieve a beautiful natural look, the hair & makeup did not budge all night through the heat and humidity, and they were even able to achieve beautiful hairdos on friends with more difficult hair - everyone was thrilled! Melissa perfectly understood the look I was going for, she made sure that I was happy with the end result and happily modified as needed - she made me feel 100% comfortable throughout the process, and helped me feel beautiful on our wedding day! I would absolutely recommend Melissa and her team to any bride - you won't regret it! Worth every penny and more!
