We got married on July 11th, 2014 at The Beloved Hotel in Playa Mujeres. It was beautiful, but stress free- I don't think so. Like most other hotels, they give you vendors to use, and if you choose your own vendor you pay an additional fee, and it was SO worth it. I chose Diego & Alvero for our day because I liked the style of their previous work, it wasn't cheesy or anything. Getting married in Mexico we had a lot of miscommunication with most vendors, however Lisa, the manager at FAS, was the easiest person to talk to! She made everything so easy, understood my requests and was very clear, consise, professional and most importantly - QUICK to respond! Amazing. The day of the wedding, D & A met us at the room, were so sweet and kind. They insisted we go about our business and they would ask as the necessary if they wanted a specific shot. Through the picture taking, they had a clear eye for the sunset and clearly have so much experience. Our pictures arrived just a few weeks after via email, and we loved looking at them. Of course, there were a few shots I wish we had, a few blinks here and there, and a few missing poses - but in those terms, I recommend that if there is something you think you are going to want, ie., a vertical shot of you and your husband or just you walking down the isle, ASK for it! They're happy to take requests. I wish I did a little more homework of what shots I wanted to make sure I had (more of my parents) or a single shot of me outside. Besides that, pics were great, they were SO friendly, and it was really the best decision we made for the wedding. Friends & fam even enjoyed them! HIGHLY recommend if you are doing a destination!!!!
