Hiring Elizabeth Medina to photograph our wedding was the best decision we could make for our wedding. From the initial email with Elizabeth to the finished photos, we have been impressed with every aspect of our experience. After being blown away with her online portfolio, I initially contacted Elizabeth mid 2013 to see if she was available to photograph our wedding in February 2014. Elizabeth's email response was immediate and I was very excited to hear that she was available on our wedding day.

All emails over the following few months were always warm, friendly and well detailed. If I ever emailed Elizabeth questions about the wedding day I would promptly receive an accurate and well detailed response. No question was ever stupid or too bothersome for Elizabeth and I felt completely at ease with chatting to her about every aspect of of wedding photography. On our wedding day Elizabeth was contracted to photograph our wedding for 6 hours. I was very impressed when Elizabeth and her daughter Lauren turned up half an hour earlier than our planned start time, it gave us time to have a chat and run through what would be our plan of attack for the next 6 hours. Elizabeth and Lauren are so sweet, they are warm and approachable and immediately put me at ease when I told them that I don't usually enjoy having my photo taken. They went to work straight away and were extremely professional in the way that they just quietly went about photographing every little detail - sometimes I didn't even realise they were there! I had no idea the kind of photos that are usually taken before a wedding ceremony and I was so glad to have Elizabeth's guidance and suggestions to ensure that we were able to get a varied assortment of pre-ceremony photographs. Over the following 6 hours, Elizabeth and Lauren were awesome  - they captured the ceremony without us even knowing that they were there and they made sure that they were present to capture not just the highlights of the reception, but also the guest interactions that most of us didn't notice. Between the ceremony and the reception, Elizabeth took us to multiple locations on our resort to take photos of us as a couple. It was great that she knew exactly where to go, so we didn't waste any time looking for locations to shoot - very important when you only have an hour of daylight left to take photographs. At the end of the 6 hours Elizabeth and Lauren were very polite in saying goodbye and letting us know that they were finished. Over the following 6 weeks I kept in touch with Elizabeth in regards to the progress of our photos. Elizabeth continued to promptly reply to all of my emails and any requests that I made Elizabeth was more than happy to accommodate (editing out tan lines etc). When we received our photos, we were very impressed with the finished product. All of the photos were so natural and relaxed. Everyone looked like they were having a great time and Elizabeth had done exactly what I had hoped for, she had captured the feel of the wedding day -  every photo felt like it transported me to that day, I felt like I was right there experiencing that moment again. I have received so many compliments from family and friends about what a fantastic photographer we had and each time I agree with them and tell them how happy we are with the photos. By far and away, I believe the best investment on our wedding day was hiring Elizabeth Medina.
