After deciding to have a wedding in Playa del Carmen at the Riu Palace Resort, Mexico we were faced with the decision of bringing a photographer from the states or trying to find someone local to the area. While we were at first apprehensive about not having someone we personally have seen do a wedding before, we were turned on to Claudia's gallery and really enjoyed her work. The colors and shots were gorgeous. After easy initial contact we established what we wanted in writing, and she even was able to help us with video services and from there on it was waiting for the actual day. Leading up to the wedding day Claudia confirmed all the details for her and her staff on the day of the wedding. It was seamless when she came in to the resort on the day of the wedding to start with the preparation photos, on to the group photos, then began the ceremony and festivities. It was a joy to have Claudia and her staff around, at other weddings there can sometimes appear to be a combative relationship between the photographers and subjects, but we had a great time taking photos. At the wedding itself Claudia and staff surprised us with an impromptu slideshow of the preparation photos they had taken only hours earlier! It was very fitting for our party. Everything was ultimately captured wonderfully, and we were given an online gallery and digital prints as we agreed upon. There are other options for albums but that was not something we explored. I would highly recommend looking into Claudia and her staff of photographers for any photo needs, although her online galleries can give you a great idea of just what kind of original work to expect, we personally experienced the pleasure and ease of doing business with her company.
