Pros: Amazing photos! So easy and fun to work! Very quick turnaround! Very quick with communication! Very reasonable prices!
Cons: Nothing!

I decided to book Caribbean Emotions for my wedding at Now Larimar in Punta Cana because I read so many great reviews on them and I could not have made a better decision!!!

From the start, they were so nice and friendly and were very prompt with e-mails, which was very important to me as I was planning my wedding all the way from Texas. I loved that if I just had a quick question, I could easily go to their website and do an instant chat with them. I always received e-mail replies promptly and they were so easy to work with. I originally only booked photography services but then about a month before my wedding, I decided I wanted to add on videography and I am so glad I did because the dvd they created was so sweet and put everyone to tears when we watched it back home.

Before flying down I sent Michael a list of photo shots I wanted (because lots of wedding sites told me I should do this) and I definitely did not need to do that because all his shots he came up with were so much better. They were so creative with all the shots and poses! I had them come about 2 hours before the wedding and they actually showed up earlier than that which I appreciated! They first took photos of my husband, groomsmen and his family in the hotel room getting ready. My favorite shot was the one he got of all the groomsmen getting ready in the bathroom: all the groomsmen were doing different things like brushing their teeth, combing their hair, shaving their face, and even one was using my clarisonic! It was so hilarious and I never in my mind would have thought of that shot. After photos of my groom were taken, they both came down to the spa to take photos of myself, bridesmaids, and my family getting ready. They took so many great shots of my flowers, jewelry, shoes, etc. Before I walked down the aisle, they went out and took photos of our ceremony venue and then got all the shots of our ceremony. Between the ceremony and the reception, the wedding party went down to the beach to take photos. The photos Michael got of me and my husband on the beach were amazing! It was so easy to feel comfortable with them because they were very friendly, funny, and easy to work with. And they were very open with my idea of taking the typical wedding party jumping on the beach photo... which we did have to try many times before we could get a good pic! Before the reception started, they took photos of my reception area and again took photos of all the wedding details I would've wanted to remember such as the sweetheart table, centerpieces, wedding cake, etc. I added on the reception package so they stayed until the reception ended around 10pm. It was definitely worth it because they took great photos of the reception (first dance, father-daughter dance, mother-son dance, toasts, cake cutting, bouquet toss, garter toss, gangam style battle!, etc.)

My wedding was on Saturday and by Monday afternoon, I had a cd with over 1000 photos and a 45-60 minute dvd (I didn't actually time the dvd but it included everything from getting ready to ceremony to beach photos to reception.) The video included a bunch of songs I picked beforehand and one of my favorite things about the video was that they went around and asked our family and friends to leave us a message on the dvd. My family and friends can't stop telling me how much they love our wedding photos and dvd. I would definitely recommend Michael and Pascal to anyone!

Thank you, Caribbean Emotions!!!

The only thing I wish I had done differently was listen to Pascal when I was picking the music for my dvd. For the bridal portion at the beginning, I was leaning towards "Marry me" by Train and he recommended "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri... I picked "Marry me" and although it is a sweet song, after seeing a bunch of wedding videos, I now wish I had listened to Pascal and chosen "A Thousand Years" for the song at the beginning of our dvd. You were right, Pascal!!
