I'm a Santa Barbara local and have looked all over for hotel venues - Canary is my favorite. Their rooftop reception space has a 360 degree view of all of Santa Barbara. Just beware of the "June gloom" - it's foggy and cold until July in SB! Good value for dollar here, good food options, but for us only the lunchtime wedding on a Sunday fit in our budget ($15K total). I highly recommend this venue from our experience researching it, and the location for out-of-towners couldn't be better.
