Pros: The most beautiful and private venue you can imagine, top notch wedding planners, decorator and florists to die for, amazing food, killer DJ... No where else like it
Cons: Literally nothing
-On the wedding day, Veronica actually came to my hotel to see me, my bridal party and my family off to the venue and then stayed to ensure ALL the guest got on the bus to get over, followed by my soon to be husband and his groomsmen. This took an unbelievable amount of stress of me and allowed me to just be in the moment as we made the final touches to get ready and photos

-When I showed up to the venue, there are no words to describe how perfect it was. Veronica and the Martoca team had taken my vision and made it 100 times better. But, it was really the personal touches that made the difference.

The best example of this: The week of the wedding, we went early so we could surf a few days. Knowing this, Veronica had the table assignment signs and table numbers made in the shape of surfboards and in the colors of the wedding palette. This was a complete surprise to me and nearly brought me to tears when we arrived.

Pros: Jimmy works with your budget! Magic
Martoca is such a beautiful venue for a destination wedding. We got married over Memorial weekend 2015 and everything was just what we envisioned our wedding to be and more. Our first contact was with Jimmy and he was really helpful in planning a wedding that was within our budget. He was really pleasant to work with and quickly responded to all of our questions. Odette, the wedding planner, is also a gem! We gave her an idea of what we were thinking in terms of decoration and she created this magical place. All of our guests showered us with compliments that this was one of the best weddings they had been to. We had the ceremony on the beach and the reception on the garden. Odette stayed with us the entire wedding making sure everything went seamless. The rest of the staff was equally amazing. We cannot think of anything that didn't go as we wanted. I highly recommend this venue to any couple looking into having a romantic and beautiful wedding on the beach in beautiful Puerto Vallarta.

Pros: Friendly, responsive, detailed
I was originally planning on having a destination wedding and when I found Martoca I was beside myself.  The property was unbelievable in photos and was exactly what I was looking for.  I contacted Jimmy and he responded immediately (something that I was not used to having happen with other locations I had looked at).  He was so friendly and helpful and started guiding me on ideas to be thinking about in our first couple of e-mails back and forth.  He attached pictures of weddings that had the kind of lay-out that I was looking for and answered all questions in thorough detail.  Not to mention on top of all of that, the price was right. :0)   Unfortunately, we ended up having to change our plans to marry in Canada in order to accomodate some family members but I know that any bride who chooses to get married at Martoca Beach Garden will have no regrets and will have the best time with Jimmy guiding them through the planning!

Pros: Private location, professional wedding planners and very flexible
I’m so happy I found Martoca Beach Garden for our upcoming wedding. The location and property is gorgeous and I love the fact that it will be a private ceremony without additional hotel on-lookers. James has been my wedding planner and he has truly been a joy to work with. He’s made the planning process very easy and FUN! I can’t wait for the big day. Thank you James!

Pros: Worked with our budget, easy to get in contact with, quick response time and very personable
Cons: Wedding is in 2014, meaning I have to wait a whole year! :(
Our contract is finalized and our deposit has been sent in! Such a relief to have found Martoca Beach Garden! Our wedding is about a year out and I couldn't be happier with our decision to have chosen this venue. Jimmy has been so great to work with and has really taken the stress out of everything. He was easy to get ahold of and very good at working within our budget. He listened to what we wanted, offered suggestions and helped us out with more than just our wedding event details (i.e. resorts, photographers). I know we have a long time until our wedding but if the service we've received thus far is anything like the service we will receive as our date aproaches...planning a wedding is fun and easy! Thanks Jimmy!!!

Pros: Everything
Amazing, its how I would describe my wedding. I wasn't able to see the place till one week before the wedding, cause we live in Italy. But my Mom told me not to worry, cause the place was looking amazing. I am Mexican, my husband is Irish, and we had loads of foreign friends coming, so we were looking for a hotel, as a wedding venue, but seriously, its just too complicated, they have loads of restrictions. We stayed in a hotel around the area. And our friends choose the best option for them, some of them stayed in Nuevo Vallarta, or Puerto Vallarta. Not safe? Super safe, we were walking by the beach at midnight one week before the wedding, with friends, and didn't have any problem. Our wedding planner (Odette) is the most professional, she has an amazing taste, and she knows exactly what a bride wants. We had communication by email till I got to Mexico. The food? we had lobster, and it was delicious, my husband had two of them =P I sent a list of the music we love, so Mike (DJ) had an idea, and he was brilliant. We had mariachi, fireworks, it was like a dream. We all had fun, was the most amazing wedding party ever! If you choose Martoca Beach Garden, you wont get it wrong, Enjoy one of the most important days in your life!

Pros: Wonderful service, prompt and detailed responses, flexible, and understanding
My finace and I have been tossing up the idea of having a destination wedding for a while.  We are currently suspecting that we will get married in the United States, but I was in contact with Martoca Beach Garden for a few weeks about their venue.  It is beautiful and Jimmy is a very helpful person with all the wedding details. He is willing to help make your decision easier on you however he can, and completely tries to remove stress from the situation.  It is possible we may change our minds about having a destination wedding, and if we did, Martoca Beach Garden would be our only consideration!

Pros: Beach and Garden, Accommodate large or small groups, Well-manicured landscape
We got married at Martoca on Sunday, April 29th and let me just say - this venue is BEAUTIFUL. Absolutely stunning!!! Our wedding group stayed at Dreams Villamagna (which was fabulous for us, absolutely perfect for a wedding group), but we didn't want to get married at a resort because we wanted a more private event. This was a GORGEOUS venue on a much more private beach, and every single one of our guests had a fabulous time. If we had to do it all over again, we would go straight back to Martoca!!   If you're looking for a fun, romantic, affordable, and beautiful place to get married... this is it! A few pictures are below, I tried to pick ones that showed off the location. (I have a few more on a previous post: http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/1528/list-of-photographers-in-the-pv-area/60#post_1769386) A big hats off to Kelley Kahrhoff, aka the world's best wedding planner, Karla Benitez, our unbelievable photographer, Dan Dimov @ Macmex Photography and Videography for our crazy cool video, and Jimmy and everyone at Martoca!! Every single moment was of our week in Puerto Vallarta perfect. :o)   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~   Our guestbook and placecards set up at the entrance, where our guests were treated to white sangria.     The beautiful view from the property, where my girls and I took our pictures before the guests arrived.     The bridal suite, with a nice frosty A/C unit. :o)     Martoca has beautiful flowers and gardens, I didn't get any bridal portraits done in my hometown so I did them here.      Setup of the tables on the lawn     Setup of tables on the lawn with the dancefloor in the background.    ''   We opted to get married on the beach instead of on the lawn, which I am REALLY happy that we did in retrospect.      The chuppah with the wedding party on the beach.   ''   Setup of the seats for the wedding guests on the beach.     MAKE SURE YOU TAKE PICTURES ON THE BEACH!! They turn out beautifully!!     There is a really nice garden area that our families took pictures at (below), but just a word of advice: a lot of small palm leaves had fallen on the grass and could be seen in our photos, especially ones of the entire family that we printed out and sent to them. It took me ten times as long to photoshop the leaves off of the grass as it would have taken one of us to go, "Hey, let's pick up these 15 unsightly leaves before we take pictures." This is the unedited version of one of the photos, and you can see one of the leaves behind my Dad's leg.     Table setup       Table setup. What a view!!     The white lounge furniture that was available during our cocktail hour was the best. Also, a few guests took breaks over there because it was BEHIND the speakers and was quieter if they needed a break from the mts mts mts mts...        We opted to do firedancers, who did a performance on the dancefloor.
