I've been using wedding wire to request quotes for photography and videography. The prices are higher than what I was expecting (2k max budget). However, Royalton White Sands house photographer is $850 for 1.5 hrs of coverage and maybe 50 prints, which is insane. I have found one photographer for 8hrs of coverage 25 retouched/200-300 edited images etc. for $1200 and video is an add on. Due to the prices we may forgo videography and maybe do something fun, like have our guests do videos and photos that a friend can edit into a wedding video. Decisions, decisions...

Hi Sintili,
We're getting married at the Royalton in July 2018. The resort photography seems to be quite expensive for very little. I plan to look at outside vendors in hopes of getting more for my money. One bride on BDW mentioned many outside photographers cover the $450 vendor fee. We'll see!

Hi ladies!
I am in the beginning stages of planning our July 2018 Jamaica wedding. So far, I've gotten prices/packages for Iberostar and Royalton White Sands in Montego Bay. I like Iberostar a lot better because it seems to offer more in its all-inclusive. I am looking for lots of activities, entertainment, and non-motorized water sports. lol I'm considering Ocho Rios, too. I really want an awesome beach and some of the reviews for Montego Bay mention rocky beaches . Also, it must be kid friendly for our little one and Riu Ocho Rios has a kids club/camp. What other resorts have you all looked into?

I'm just starting to plan my July 2018 wedding in Jamaica and just looked at the Riu because we will have our then-6 year old with us. I've gotten info on Iberostar (which I really like) and Royalton, both are in Montego Bay. What other resorts have you looked into?
I plan to skip Save the Dates and send the info and all booking info by the end of this summer. Please share some of your ideas!!! Thanks!

Hi ladies!
How is your wedding planning coming along? I am working on booking a photographer (outside vendor). Any recommendations?
