Has anyone had their wedding meal at gran tortuga? We've been before and love the food, I've asked on my wedding wishes if we could be seated in the tented area on the outside of the restaurant as the sea breeze is lovely, there's 19 of us in total, I've not heard back from the wedding co-ordinator yet though. The main thing I wanted to ask is if anyone has requested the standard gran tortuga menu? We love the usual food and to be honest prefer it to the look of the set menu, plus I think it's going to be hard for each guest to be happy with not having a choice of food. And do they decorate the tables or should I take decorations with me? Gem xx

Has anyone had to get an adoption certificate legalised and translated, where have you taken it/sent it to be translated? I've figured out how to go about getting it legalised just not sure where to get it translated. Thanks in advance x

Hi, I get married at gbp Tulum this July. I wanted to get some maracas whilst we're in Mexico to give to guests at the wedding, I guess that if need about 15 pairs. Has anyone done this before or could give an idea where I could get these from and a rough idea of the cost? I was thinking that maybe playa del Carmen may be the best place but I've never been there there on previous visits. Thanks in advance, gemma x

Hi there, I'm getting married July 2016 at the Tulum side and have just started to look at the paperwork and wedding wishes document (I know...I'm not especially organised!). Last year on holiday there I saw a wedding/gathering a little out of the way by the pool and it looked really secluded and fab. I'm looking at my wedding wishes pack and would love at some point to have canapés and cocktails, just not quite sure of the order to do it all in, do you get married, then canapés then dinner or married, dinner then canapés? We're asked for the ceremony to be between 3-4pm. Also for a poolside drinks hour could I request this location for the canapé hour and just pay canapé and cocktails prices per head? Or would I have to pay the 'privatisation' fee to be poolside plus the price per head for cocktails & canapés? Sorry for the long post! Gemma x

Hi there, getting married at gran Bahia principe Tulum and thought that I'd try to pick up some maracas for our UK reception party from playa del carmen, has anybody done this or have any idea how much they cost from there? I'm looking for around 100 maracas (50 pairs) at least, the site advertised earlier looks amazing but I fear that shipping and customs cost will rule it out for me.
