  1. Hello! I am also an Iberostar 2014 bride! My fiancé and I still trying to decide what to do about our honeymoon. We can't decide if we want to stay in Jamaica or try to fly to another island. We're not sure how easy it will be to travel to another island. Any suggestions or advice?!? Thanks!! :-)))

I'm not sure about traveling to another island. You could always honeymoon at The Grand if you are wanting to have alone time after the wedding.

  2. I just got back from my wedding, and while I should be unpacking, doing laundry or getting organized, I'm still in Jamaica mode and have resolved to do that stuff later - no problem, mon. We had a pretty big group (almost 65 of us total), so our OOT bags were pretty simple. However, we got a lot of compliments on them and people found them really useful. Our items:
    • Custom tumblers from Discount Mugs
    • Individually wrapped Ibuprofen and Pepto from Amazon
    • Mini hand sanitizers from Bath and Body Works (and went through Ebates to get some cash back on those)
    • Chapstick with SPF

Like I said, everyone loved them - especially the tumblers. I loved seeing people use them at the bar and in the restaurants. The bartenders had no problem filling them up instead of the tiny resort cups. Hope this helps!

Congrats!! Thanks for the info....I've wondered if bartenders would have issues filling up the tumblers!
  3. They do have an online store where you can order them, I am not sure how much the charge for shipping though. Here is their email address, [email protected], I had sent him a request asking the colors and and this was his response. We have over 50 colors and you can find them on our website www.pioneergroup27.com (type 101 into the search box). They are $30/dz. They are perfect for what I need them for, nice and soft and very pretty colors.
Thanks for the info!! Great price and lots of colors!!

That is awesome!  I never would have thought about taking the bins.  Great idea!  Thanks!

  5. I'm bringing up the subject of...Legal vs. Symbolic ceremony. Who is doing what? Is it easier do the legal thing before you head down for your DW? It seems to me with the little research and threads that I have read it would be ALOT cheaper. I would worry what day we should celebrate our actual anniversay on? If we decide to do it this way (which I'm leaning torwards the more I read) I would do the legal part HUSH HUSH, where only the FI and I were there. No one needs to know the ceremony on the beach is "pretend"! :mswink: What is everyone elses thoughts?
