You can have your reception at several location with no additional cost (terrace, disco,beach, or quiet pool) But if you want to have your reception at Castaways it will be an additional $3,000 USD.  FYI: only preferred guests can eat at castaways restaurant during your stay at Now Larimar

Hi foreverlove. I am also getting married at Now Larimar on 12/13/14. My fiance and I have decided to have a beach ceremony and dinner and dancing. We are still working on all the details. Hello Ladies!!!! I hope wedding planning is going well! I am confirmed for 12/13/14 at 3pm and my wedding coordinator is also Luisa Miranda. She took a while to send me paperwork but so far so good. I want to let you ladies know I will actually be taking a trip to Now Larimar end of September. I will take some pics and post them and also let you know what I thought about the resort.

Congrats amanda15012014 !!! how exciting!!! My fiances family is pretty big. We have around 100 guests that we are inviting I'm hoping for around 40 guest which is still a lot! I'm afraid how many people are going to end up coming. hahahah The only thing helping is not many people like to travel to close to the holidays which may work in my favor!

Thanks duchovny0901 it the last time you can ever have a date like that, we thought it was pretty unique! I was told they were available for a 3pm wedding since I'm having a civil wedding with the judge services. I just wanted to confirm one detail before I put my deposit down. Did you decide on Now Larimar and what date?

I'm looking to book at Now Larimar for 12/13/14 and love everything I've heard and seen about the resort! Except I was looking to have my reception at Castaways but it now says there's a $5000 fee to reserve!!! ( so upsetting) I emailed the resort to inquire about this issue but I haven't heard anything back yet!
