  1. Wow! looks beautiful!!!!  I have a few questions for you.....What kind of cake did you get?  Did you have a DJ/dancefloor?  If not, was the Ipod & speaker system good enough? Thanks!!!
We had the chocolate cake that was included and it was very good! We didn't not have a dj/dance floor because we only had 26 people so I figured I didn't need to spend the money on it. The dance floors are pretty awesome though. I saw one on the beach one night. We did the iPod and it worked great! The only problem we had was the music shut off on us during our first dance which really sucked, but we just took a shot and they fixed the problem quickly.
  2. There was enough light I think but I rented two illuninated columns, lights for under the tables and floating lights. I just did plain white lights under most of the tables because of the cost but they didn't seem to do much. I had pink under our sweetheart table and it was really pretty! The columns were awesome. Half of my floating lights didn't work... I didn't say anything to them about it because I didn't want to stress but it is annoying when you pay that much for something and they don't work.

  3. Nicole, I used an outside vendor.his name is Gonzalo Nunez and he was amazing! I highly recommend him! I didn't even mention the vendor fee to any of the wedding coordinators.. I just told them I wanted to buy a day pass for my photographers and hair/makeup girls and they let me do that. I used Tania tagle for hair makeup and she was great! My photography package included 6 hours on the wedding day and a day after 2 hour session at a different location for $2700. I can't wait to see the pictures!!

  5. YossiMeyer,

As far as I know a day pass for guests not staying at the hotel is around $95 per person. I also heard that 75% of the guests have to stay at the wedding, but you could ask them if they could make an exception for that if you need to. For the contract, I don't think they have recently allowed anyone to include the roof top terrace on the contract. My wedding is this November and they wouldn't let me put it on there, but they assured me that they only book one wedding at a time or have certain time slots for weddings so there shouldn't be a problem. I made sure they made a note that I wanted the roof top terrace and sky terrace for my reception. I hope this helps! Planning can be stressful in the beginning, but it all seems to work out great for everyone.

  6. You only put down a deposit if you are paying for a package- if you are doing the complimentary package (which I did) you do not put down a deposit- so don't let them make you! You may have to put down a deposit for your "extras" but not for the ceremony itself!
Thanks Shan! That definitely makes me feel better. I didn't want to start booking all of my outside venders and not know if my date was secured due to not having a deposit.
  7. Hey girls! I'm a new Beach Palace bride. My wedding is November 2013. I'm figuring out that this website is very helpful since it is hard to get ahold of people at the resort! I signed my contract for the complimentary wedding a couple weeks ago, but I was just curious if any of you know if I have to pay a deposit to secure my spot? I haven't received any information to do that and Rocio won't email me back. I already sent out my save the dates and booked a photographer so I do not want to lose my wedding date because of something like that!!
