Hello Ladies!!

 

I'm recently engaged and planning my wedding in the DR, Punta Cana.  The beaches look incredible and my fiance and I are all about the Tropical Paradise feel for our wedding!    I've doing quite a bit of research on the all-inclusive resorts (crazy how many there are, but love the options) and would love to receive recommendations for recent weddings in Punta Cana.  

 

I was in contact with Stephany at the Sanctuary Cap Cana, yet have just been informed that she is no longer with them and the resort is not available for weddings in April 2015, which was very disappointing since this resort was top on my list.  I loved the fact that it was more private and less of a "wedding factory" feel per se.  The new coordinator, Hector, did however recommend the other two sister properties of the resort (ALSO Luxury Village and ALSO Del Mar).  Has anyone gotten married or stayed at either of these two resorts?

 

Any feedback would be extremely helpful!!

Our big day is Nov 23, 2014. We've booked the ceremony beach side.

Still undecided on which package to go with, leaning towards the aqua.

I got married at Palma Real and did the Tailor Made package. Am happy to give input on the resort, facilities, music, photographer, etc. There is a lot to know and handle. I had 95 people at my wedding and all from out of town. It went off perfectly. Got married on the beach and reception poolside.

I just had my wedding at PR one month ago. I did the Tailor Made and can tell you all the ins/outs of dealing with the resort/staff. Let me know if you have any questions. I will say that my wedding was exquisite but keep in mind I arrived 5 days early and was kicking azz with the wedding staff up until the day of. Keep in mind the staff is trained to give you a package- which they do not know how to embellish or deviate from- you need to come with SPECIFIC needs and directives with firm timelines. Also, I had a fantastic photographer Katya Nova and used Arrecife as a videographer. Arrecife was ok. Happy to give reviews on the rooms, staff, food, event designers, music, etc.
