  1. I am getting married at the Melia on November 16, 2013 but just doing the symbolic ceremony there and the reception at the Jellyfish Restaurant. I am having difficulty w the photographer situation. Apparently melia has a contract w Arrecife studio but I found a better deal w an outside company...yet Melia would charge me $1000 to use someone other than Arrecife!!! That is just ridiculous....anyone having any issues w the same thing or any other suggestions :/...??
Hi sweetie I'm getting married Nov. 27 at Melia and my sisters wedding was also there and it was just AMAZING ;))
  2. Thank you Tink for this info...I am in Houston Texas do you think they go on sale here at the same time...

Hi AndyB!  I work at an Old Navy and I would just tell you to wait for spring merchandise to come which should be coming as early as the end of this month. With spring merchandise, we start getting boxes and boxes of these bags. We usually place them at the front of the registers, so that customers can buy them to place their items in, instead of the plastic bags we give. You should be seeing them in store soon!
  3. Wao thanks for sharing this info...

It brings the price per unit down quite a bit, and I found this to be cheaper than any store (though I'm in Canada, so you may have more selection/sales in the US). They also have flat rate $4.99 US shipping, which I found fantastic compared to other travel mugs I looked at online. I'm in Canada, but had them shipped to a US friend :)

Also, if it helps...I debated for a long time what size/shape to get. I decided on the "keg" style because it will sit better on the beach or poolside (I think the car style mugs with the skinnier bottoms would tip more easily). I also went with the 20oz, even though I was tempted to go for 32oz. I'm glad I went with the 20's, because they will be easier to pack, and they are plenty big enough!

  4. Thank you so much they were a middle ground. I worked with an amazing graphic designer to come of with the custom scheme and feel and then I assembled them and added the details the bling the charms (charms are a theme through out the week, women will have bracelets and collect charms through the different event) they were a bit more then I was initially thinking but to me invites truly set the tone. I was going for luxury casual, BOHO beach and a hint of the princess bride.

Debating on whether or not to use the onsite wedding photographers, you don't get much for what you pay for and I am unsure about the quality.  Anyone have pics they can share or advise on this?

Also wondering about the hair and make up job they do at the salon!

Hi Krystrahan, do you mind emailing me his info. I have been working with someone else and it takes for ever to get a reply thanks. I have the same amount of guests can you tell me about how much you ended up paying for the Fairy Tale package. Thank you in advance and good luck. You can private message me if you you like.
