Both my now husband & I used the tap water to wash our teeth & used the ice cubes and no sickness or running to the loo either. And we were there for 2 weeks in may.

Still at Now jade so just a quick response. Mari-Carmen, our wedding planner had a basket for our little bits & pieces that she had with her when she came to meet me to go to ceremony. You'll be fine enjoy your special dayQuick Question for past brides.. Or those who would know.. I am wearing 2 different shoes. One for ceremony, one for reception. Is there somewhere we can put my receptions shoes or do we have to go back to the room? Also, same with lipstick/lipgloss. I'd like to touch up my lips before photos and before we enter the reception.. What are our options? I won't be seeing the groom before the wedding, or I'd just have him hold them in his pocket! And my MOH will not have pockets. Okay, i just realized my dad could hold my lip stuff, but what about shoes? -

I am in Now Jade at present and have had no problems with glass or any other lack of cleanliness.. Plus the staff are all so friendly and most helpful. We got married on 6th May and now time to male the most of the rest of our time here

It is only the 2 of us heading over to Mexico, so dont have any worries about guests etc, but we are so looking forward to having some alone time with each other, it feels like its been so long!
Then we get to come home and celebrate with family & friends

Haha, I sound like such a wino )) I just remember reading somewhere else that someone bought wine, was just curious. I do like an odd glass of red. Thank you Mlite83 for letting me know

So is there any wine included in the 'all inclusive' do you know please?I was just there 2 months ago and don't worry this is not true. All of the restaraunts, bars, coffee lounge and room service are included thus making it All Inclusive. You can opt to purchase a bottle of wine (if you prefer high end or something in particular) but they don't push it at all..in fact I only know about that option from reading reviews, we didn't inquiry about it and no one ever tried to push it on us. -
Just wondering, do any past or future bride know is there an alternative to the Canopy for our beach ceremony?
It is just myself & my man heading over to Mexico from Ireland for our wedding in May 2013. As it is just the 2 of us, we went for the Moments Wedding Package. Pilar has just told me it will be $350 for the Canopy! I can't justify paying that for a 20 minute ceremony especially when it is just the 2 of us going to be there... Any suggestions??
Thanks in advance ladies

Ah sounds perfect thanks for sharing!! We're delighted with our decision. My little sis got married last weekend and it was a brilliant day and I was afraid that we would regret our decision, but as much as I enjoyed the day, there was a lot involved and it was a bit stressful. I can't wait until our intimate wedding and also look forward to our celebration when we come home.. And CONGRATS!!We got married just my husband and I  with one of our best friends and his finace..we have been together 10 years and now with a daughter so to us marriage was just a piece of paper. I got married in flip flops and a sun dress it was the most amazing day of my life! In the end when your saying your vows to eachother its like no one is there anyway just the two of you! My family had a fit they were not involved in our day so we are having a small cruise wedding. But in the end you have to do what makes you happy and It was actually really nice we were on a vacation for a week when we got married and just the time alone, no one could ever take that time away.  -

Thanks a million Caroline, appreciate that!

How much is a trial for hair and/or make-up does anyone know, is it the same price as on the actual day?

Thanks a mil I guess once I have a photo or an idea that works for me/my face shape/eye shape etc, it will be fine. My main concern is the foundation, as I dont normally wear it, if I do, its the tiniest amount & what I would normally use would be too light as I do tend to tan quite well when on hols.. But I want my skin to look as flawless as possible for the photos but was concerned that I would look caked in make up!

Another question ladies...
As it is just the 2 of us heading over to get married in Mexico,we are just going for the 'Your Moments' wedding package. I am just wondering, is the use of a wedding canopy/arch included in this. Is there a charge for flowers/decorations etc for it?

Hey ladies,
Have any past brides used the spa in Now Jade for their make-up & if so would you have any close up photos of it please Were you happy with it??.
I tend not to wear foundation & if I do, I use very little. I just tend to do make up on my eyes & have my own way of applying. I got my make up done for my brothers wedding, but I didnt like it at all.
Do you recommend wearing foundation for wedding photos? I will have to buy new foundation if so, as I will have a tan & it will be hotter in Mexico than back home in Ireland Our wedding is in May 2013, so hoping it will be warm/hot
Or do you reckon, the best thing is to get my make-up done in the spa?
Thanks in advance,
Susannah

Can you please send it to me too Thanks in advanceHi I have the price list. The wedding coordinator, Pilar, sent it to me about a week ago. If you can't open it let me know and I can send it to you direct. -
Thanks a million! Anyone's opinion/experience is a great help. Very much appreciatedI know this wasn't directed at me, but I have been to Xcaret and loved it. Xel-Ha is also another great place to go and also offers swim with the dolphines through the Delphinus (the company that Matt mentioned). They both great venues in their own way.
