Anyone here planning on a ceremony with just bride and groom present? We don't want to pay for a reception or a wedding cake for 20 guests because it's just the two of us. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

My fiance and I just decided to get married February 2013 while I am on school vacation. We initially thought summer 2013, but we're planning an at-home reception and a big move to Georgia, so there is literally no time for a trip like this.

I am freaking out we won't get a date that week, but I'm also hoping they will accommodate us because it's literally just the two of us - no one else is attending.

Is there no chance in the world my fiance and I will score a date next February (2013)? We made a last minute decision because I am a teacher (and get the week off) and we're moving to GA next summer!

The only attendees at our wedding will be he and I with no reception following. I am keeping my fingers crossed!
 

I am hoping to book our wedding during the week of February 16th-Feb. 22nd, 2013! - only 7 months away! Since it literally is just the bride and groom I am hoping they can accommodate this! I definitely did not expect to have to hope we get a date.
