I had my friend help me make the invitation her printer is more professional then mine. but it was a pain in the @$$.  I just had to purchase the paperstock and ribons the rest is printing and creating, I tried some templates for them, but they weren't working so I just measured it myself and did lots of tryouts before I could get the one I liked. My bonus is that my friends does invitations and things like that, this was her first passport invites and I think we did a great job for being a newby at it. you know I didn't do a website, mostly cuz I didn't have all the information on time and then it was too late.

    Negitadr,

Good job on the invitations. They look very nice!

I also want passport invitations but I would have to order it from somewhere. I'm really not that artistic lol

If anyone is ordering passport invitations, please share the info with me. Thanks

  2. Hello lovely Brides to be,

Im glad everything is going smoothly for everyone.

Natalie, yes I finally decided on a TA! It only took like 2 months lol

I sent out my save the date magnets this weekend and I'll probably have an idea of how many ppl are coming by the end of the week. I'm not going to order any favors or anything until I have an idea of how many ppl are coming.

For centerpieces, I really want flowers and don't want to bother making my own. Skyy gave me the info of this florist place called Floristeria El Tronco, they are located outside Dreams. I'm going to email them later today and I'll let you guys know how it goes. Prices are very reasonable compared to the resorts. Skyy thanks again for sharing :)

Hey Skyy, I sent you an email. Let me know if they are the same. Hope thats helpful

I just want to thank you so much for helping me out with this. After going back and forth a million times from one TA to another, I finally decided to go with Liberty Travel. I did the math and Liberty Travel is much much cheaper. For those brides who are looking for a TA look no further. With Libery Travel my fiance and I are going to pay $1260 for 7 nights. Wright Travel is about $500 more for 7 nights.

Shop around girls before commiting, thats my advice to all :)

    Hi carolina,

I am also doing a group block, I will probably have about 30-50 people so we will be putting down a $100 on each room as a deposit so that guests can begin booking their rooms. We are only blocking 10 rooms for now because we can't really afford to pay more than $1000 and I should be signing a contract with Barbara within the next few days. If you are certain you will be filling up those 20 rooms and can put a $100 down for each I would say go for it. Besides, the $1000 deposit will then be used towards your wedding. Hope this info helps!

We ended up with blocking 10 rooms too. She just sent me the contract. Im going to review it and send her the requirements. Ill let you know how it goes

  7. Hey Sheryl,

Yeah I remember you were the one who gave me her information. I stop talking to her for a while because I didnt have my date confirmed but now I do and want to finalize the travel arrangements. Did you do single booking or group booking? Im having a party of about 50 ppl and want to do group booking and block 20 rooms. What do you suggest?

    Thanks again

We just had to put a deposit down for our personal room. Then when our guests decided to book, they did the same. Our deposit was around $300 for 10days in the honeymoon suite. We didn't have to make the final payment until 2 months before departure. Apple also offers an insurance for an additional $90 p/p that guarantees the cheapest rates up until they day we leave. This insurance has given us $450 back on our trip, however none of our guests rates have gone down.

We went this route since we knew we wouldnt have a huge amount of guests coming (27), so we didnt have to worry about the hotel being fully booked.

Thank you so much for the info.

By the way, your day is around the corner yay how exciting!!  Are you getting nervous? When are you leaving?
