Is anyone else confused by the wedding packages? They include the ceremony but it says nothing about the reception?? Is everything at the reception a la carte?

Hello ladies! I am looking at getting married at the Secret Silversands Riviera Cancun resort- it looks amazing! If any of you have gotten married here, I would appreciate your feedback! I just viewed "Diana and Arman's photos by Del Sol Photography" at this resort and they were amazing. Please share your experience with me!

Ladies, we have booked May 5, 2013 for our wedding at OCT. so excited! A friend gave us the idea to just do the ceremony and not setup the formal reception since we will be having one back home. Her point is that with the resort being all inclusive, why not go to dinner after or lounge around the pool bar- is it wasted money to do a reception there if we are having one here??? Also, i have setup a wedding website with all of the travel info- sending our save the dates soon only to the people we are inviting to mexico. Our STD's have our website on them so they will refer the guests to rsvp through our website and get all travel info from there. I dont think ill need to send out formal invites since the guests who are going will have already booked there trip by the time i would send these out? Then ill just send invites for our AHR closer to may. Thoughts???

Did anyone use a free wedding website to update their guests on travel information, etc or did you include all of that with your invitation? Not sure how this works with a destination wedding. Any advice you could give would be great! Thank you!
