    Jasmine's Bridal Called Me!!!

So I sent Jasmine's my last revisions and I had already mentioned to them about me being on a time crunch because SOP screwed me over. Lisa sent me an email around 1:30am saying that she had gotten the revisions but it would take extra time to do the skirt portion and that they want to make sure I get it on time. I shot her an email back and asked how much extra time.........Fast forward to me getting up at 3:30am because I couldn't sleep. James (I think that's Lisa's husband) sends me an email and asks if he could give me a call. I sent email back giving him phone number and within 30 minutes he called me.

We talked on the phone for an entire hour and he went over every possible scenario for the bottom of the dress, telling me what the production time would be and giving me alternatives. I coudln't believe he was being so patient. He said it was important that he called because he saw in the notes that I was on a time crunch and he just wanted to make sure I got my dress exactly the way I wanted it without being too stressed and being confident that I would get a beautiful dress. He informed me of the risk I was running (well not necessarily the "risk") but what the dress would look like if I added "a couple of layers of ruffles" at the bottom as I had indicated. He gave me quite a few options. He told me that while it was 5:30am here in the U.S., it was 5:30pm there and it was at the end of their work day and the workers were going home. He said for me to find pictures of several options of how I wanted the bottom and send them to him. He said he would be sending me an email and consistently checking his email for the pictures. He even said I could give him a call back (which I won't be doing because calling to Jamaica is high enough......can you say "calling to China???? LOL)

I told him I was really impressed by the customer service and he said that because time was of the essence he knew he needed to speak to me to make sure the dress was being recreated like I wanted it. He said their dress shop used to be in the United States so they are all about customer service, unlike some Chinese dress shops. He even said he knew about the FB page that someone had set up warning people against Shades of Pale and that they had posted. He says they have worked with a lot of brides that got scammed by Shades of Pale.

Now off to find out how I want the bottom of this dress!

Can you please give me his name? Is it Chinese name?

I've filed a dispute through my credit card company, who is now working WITH PayPal to a) get a refund and B) check their clientelle history on PayPal to see if they should even be selling through it anymore.  They are going after both SoP AND their bank to get a refund and I trust that the credit card company will be pretty ruthless, as THEY have refunded me and are getting money back for themselves.

I've contact SoP several times, it's weeks past the date the dress was supposed to be here, and they won't respond.  I'm not interested in dresses from them anymore, as it will be too late to wear them by the time they get here - I just want a refund.  If anyone else has had a bad experience, I encourage you to contact PayPal and report them, leave a written online review, and anything else you can.  They've scammed me and, it seems, several other people out of hundreds of dollars, not to mention royally screwed up my wedding attire plans and left me scrambling.

I am sure u will like this page on FB. It's called  "Cheat by shade of pale bridal" (simply search on FB). Please find, like and support!

  3. In my case, i asked Shade of Pale to send my dress as a gift (to Europe) and make delivery to my doors(as they always promise), but 5 month later (which was already too late to have that dress because my wedding has passed) i got a call from the airport and was told that my post has finally arrived,it  is at customs house and i need to come myself to pick it up and pay tax.

  4. Amalia (Shade of Pale) has nothing to do with bad or good service! she does her part of job by using nice words, to calm u down for a while and make u believe everyth will be fine. There r other people as well who decides to make ur wish come true or not. Do ur dress on time or ruin the whole excitement of waiting for it.   ONE THING I HAVE TO SAY, THAT IF SOMETH GOES WRONG (as it happened to many people who ordered from SOP) U WILL NEVER GET UR MONEY BACK!!!! NO REFUND for any case! U might get ur dress (if u r lucky) but definately not on time.  BTW, have you been in touch with Mr. Wen?!  Too many good promisses from him and noth else.

I almost went with Shades of Pale, but since I was cutting it close on time and many of the other girls said they received their dress late, I decided to not go with them. However, the dresses they have made so far look great. I think I would have picked them if I still was out 6+ months til my wedding

Sorry for not answering for so long. I am working for many hours and trying to get my money back from SOP (no success). I promise i will post my story very soon! But for now, i will say that making a deal with Sade of Pale is like playing with ur luck on 500$.
