@KimandSky Here are a few documents that I have. My wedding is April 20th anf I am finished with the planning of the wedding. Let me know if there is any specific info you need, I might just have it. If you are booking the resorts DJ, your coordinator will take care of that. I was told that Nicholas Cano is the resorts Dj, here is his email: [email protected]. You can email him a playlist. If your coordinator is not responding I would send a message to the main coordinator, [email protected]. I hope this helps Good Luck!

I know they are busy with multiple weddings a day, but is it normal that we haven't gotten anything with 2 1/2 months to go? Any advice would be great! Paula is our wedding coordinator.
Thanks!

No I am not using Planner 1. There will be a vendor fee to use them. I already have 3 outside vendors; I do not want anymore. Most of the things I want Ana can accommodate. Some things come out cheaper for me to just send it to her.

Planner1 on is an Event/Wedding Planning company. The can provide decor, caterers, photographer, dj, etc. http://www.planner1events.com/

I thought about making my own centerpieces actually I would prefer to however I am having a hard time finding something non-breakable and I am worried about traveling with glass. I saw Foto Take It mentioned in a couple of previous reviews however it is not the hotel photographer after the reviews I have read on the hotel photographer I definitly do not want to use them! Lastly (for now anyway lol) Do you know when the final payment is due for the wedding and all the extras and what type of payment is accepted? I am trying to budget and plan what I can ahead of time :-)
Has anyone had anything shipped to Ana ahead of time? I wasn't sure if that was an option. Also for anyone who is using or has used the hotel DJ, please give reviews. I haven't read much on here but I am trying to avoid having to pay yet another outside vendor fee, so if the hotel one is good then I will just use him :-)Thanks in advance for any information!
Hi! If I am not mistaken final payment should be taken care of after your wedding. I am shipping all supplies to the resort a month before the wedding and will ship everything back home after the wedding. I think this will be easier and safer than bringing everything myself. I am going to use the resorts DJ. I too want to avoid having too many vendor fees. I have communicated with the DJ through email. He told me to put together a playlist, send it to him and he will get the music. His name is Nicolás Cano; email [email protected] .
Hope this helps... Happy Planning!

@Toritrad. Love the centerpiece, it is so pretty! I too have started buying all supplies.
I am going to attempt to recreate this centerpiece, just not as tall. The vases I bought are may 1/2 the size of these. I have everything for the centerpieces except for flowers. I am going on a hunt for flowers today. I hope I find them, so I can move on to the next thing.

Hello OCT Brides! I'm back after taking a long hiatus from wedding planning. I have six months to go and I am so overwhelmed. I feel like I am missing something. Are you ladies creating your own centerpieces? I have decided to experiment with creating my own centerpieces, since I am over my budget.

Hello Ladies! I haven't been on the forum in a while. I have 8 months to go and I am starting to get nervous. I am still working out small details such as ceremony and reception decor. Any suggestions?

Hello Ladies!
What do you ladies have planned for the reception. Will you stick with tradition (Introducing wedding party, cake cutting, toss bouquet & garter)?
-
Well, over the past couple of days I have sent info request to several videographers, photographers and dj's. Hopefully I can book those vendors within the next couple of weeks. Did you hire your own florist?
-
It's going ok, just a little stressed. I think once I have booked all of my vendors I will feel better.

Thank you for the helpful information!
@ Sarah Wu Thank you for sharing your beautiful video. You looked absolutely gorgeous... Congratulations!

@Shanon09. Congrats! I booked my wedding on April 20, 2013, I guess I will see you there! I was wondering about the resorts photography as well. I hope we both get answers soon.
-
@Tropiclover. Your pictures are gorgeous. Thanks for sharing. Looking at how wonderful your wedding looked calms my nerves. What photographer did you use? Do you have any suggestions or advice for us brides with upcoming weddings? Did you hire any outside vendors?
-
No problem! I have only been working with them for a month, but I have no complaints. I just received my group rates and lobe the agents quick response time. Good luck and happy planning
-
@ adilev. I went through my travel agent. She got decent response time. We are still waiting on group rate packages. I am being patient b/c I want my guest to get the best rates they offer.

@Kimandsky - The ceremony can be performed in english. I was told that not much can be added to a civil ceremony in order for it to be legal. I can send you some of the wording if you like.
