  1. I am not even going to worry about decor with the new gazebo - its beautiful and in pictures it just pops against the blue ocean!  As for reception decorations, we are taking our own center-pieces down with us and having our bridal party set them up while we are getting pictures done.  It is such a beautiful location (we are having our private reception on the beach) that I don't think you need much for decor as well - it gets dark in the evening and no one is going to remember if you had purple sashes around your chairs... I am let the beauty of the area decorate my reception.

  2. Hello Ladies

I am hoping one of you can help me with my question.  We are having a private dinner on the Beach  at 6:30 and as I understand, we have that location for 3 hours? (Is this correct with all private functions) Therefore, in your opinion do you think i need to book more time for a reception?  I figured we could all go to the piano bar after 9:30 and then for those that wanted to continue the party - could make their way to the disco at 11pm.  Any thoughts???
    Thanks in advance!!

  3. Hi my fiance and I are planning a wedding hopefully at Cayo for next year (2013), we are going to be a fairly large group 20-30 individuals.  I was curious about the nightlife.  We enjoy a good party and  i want to ensure that tmy guest are able to have a great time even into the wee hours.  To those who have had a wedding at Cayo, did you have any issues with this?  I understand the bars on the resort shut down at midnight and you can go to the disco at Barcardi - is it a good time there?  Can you have beach parties or parties on your balcony if there is a large enough space?

    Thanks for your replies.
