Beautiful Airplane luggage tag favors.  These were a hit at my wedding! 

Twelve airplane luggage favors leftover from my destination wedding. The airplane is a silver metal and the strap to affix it to luggage is a vinyl or plastic. Brand is Kate Aspen. They come wrapped in plastic and in a small favor box with a "thank you" tag attached.

Just curious.... why are you going the impromptu route rather than formally booking? 

I'm sure they wont stop you, but also won't provide any assistance/support. Doesn't seem like need them to help, so Im sure you're fine.

I am selling a brand new/unworn W Too Georgiana bridal gown. I ordered this item in October 2011 hoping to fit it by my wedding, and unfortunately failed royally. LOL So my loss (or lack of a loss) is your gain! 

The gown is size 12 with tags attached, and is in original (unaltered/no bustle) condition. The material is taffeta. The flower on the front is a brooch which can be moved to a different spot or removed totally. There are no stains or other flaws on the dress. It has been meticulously cared for since the date I purchased it. 

I am a street size 12, and this dress is about one to two sizes too small for me. So a street size 8/10 should fit it nicely.

I'm a Dreams Palm beach bride so I can't speak on the locations, but I'd def suggest you begin thinking about save the dates, and what vendors you may want to use (photog, dj, or florist). Theres tons of resources on this site if you need them.

Ironically, I was contacted by one of my guests, and she requested that we create a registry!! She agreed that it shouldn't be printed on the invitations, so as to give the impression that gifts are expected.

Another thing to consider is using something like simple registry which is a cash registry, but allows you to put items on it, then people give you cash for the specific item that suits them most. And for big ticket items you can break them down into several units (e.g., a $500 item can be broken down into 5 $100 units). 

Cash registries are probably most ideal because you dont want people lugging a gift on an airplane that you have to lug back home.

One more thing to add --- my TA called both AirTran and American and they both have two group travel discount plans... 

• Option 1: at least 10 people must fly the same round-trip itinerary (same airports, times, flights, both ways), they have special pricing [note: it wasnt that much better than the regular prices]. You have to put x number of dollars down for each person to solidify the group rate.
• Option 2: The airline gives you a discount code. Your guests book their travel (must depart within one week of the event, and must return within one week of the event) and apply the group code. As long as 10 people book you get a percentage off the lowest available fare for the selected flight (American's percentage off was 5%, and AirTrans was 10%). This is free!

So I had my TA setup codes on both airlines for my event (Option 2). I am leaning more toward American bc I've seen better itineraries.

So maybe ask your TA to contact the airlines to inquire. She said it was a bit of a hassel (waited on hold for 45 mins), but hey, that's why we have these TAs! To handle stuff like this!

Has anyone considered cake balls? I loveeeee them, and they have some staying power in the fridge.

I suggest getting in contact with a wedding coordinator who specializes in destination weddings. They can send you places that their former brides used in locations you specify and in the price range you specify. 

I think there are some you can find on BDW.

I think we will do a small registry for those who want to give gifts. It will be listed on our website with a disclaimer, but will not be printed on invites.
