Hey all!! I have a quick question - were there any brides or grooms with a large number of guests attending ie, 100+? I'm looking into packages, and because all of them are quoted for relatively small groups, less then 25, I find it difficult to find a package that is within my budget. Where are you holding your wedding ceremony and reception? Love to hear from you all!

Thank you so much! I don't really know where to begin to be honest because all of my fiance's family lives in Jamaica and most of my family as well. There will be very few people actually staying at a resort because they actually live there or are staying with family who live in Jamaica. I find that most destination weddings just focus on individuals who are aiming to have smaller weddings where most of the individuals attending live elsewhere and will be staying at the resort.

So, I'm trying to figure out a reasonable budget for my JA destination wedding I know it depends on many variables such as the number of people, extras etc. but I'm just curious as to what others have come up to. What was your budget? and for how many people?

I'm thinking Clarendon, Mandeville, surrounding areas about 1- 1 1/2 away from Clarendon. It's really hard to get everyone to travel 4hours up to Negril or Mo Bay

Hey all!!! I'm new to the site and I'm really having a hard time finding a location. My fiance lives in the south coast of Jamaica along with his family and all of my family. Does anyone know of any wedding venues/hotels in the south coast that don't scream country? haha I'm really having a hard time. Thanks so much!!
