  1. Hi, we returned yest, married Friday 20th April. We had the same issue re docs as Thomas cook were advising translations and Jazmin had told us we only needed the tourist cards. We decided to trust Jazmin (and other read about other uk brides on here) and were very pleased we did. No other other documents were needed. We have never been married before or changed our names. Hope this reassures you uk brides :) x

  2. Hi all, thanks to all that replied re legal docs. We leave from the uk 2 weeks today. I've been reading all the posts which are proving to be very helpful. We still have loads to do starting to get stressed now tbh. I wonder if anyone could help with the following? 1 how much are the blood tests? 2 we have booked with t cook sunshine package what legal costs are to pay in Mexico. We emailed Jazmin over 1 week ago an still no reply. Our experience with t cook hasn't been great and all info they have supplied has been in accurate. Help from you all to de stress me would be lovely :) x Jo x x x

  3. Rach, its a small world!!!! lol

How crazy, and our wedding dates are 1 day different (Hopefully if you get your date) :)

Thanks for your reply, TC have told us we need to get our full Birth Certs translated into spanish, then have them certified by a spanish speaking solicitor and then they have to be sent to the legalisation office in Milton Keynes to have the legalised. We are then supposed to carry them with us. Then you have the blood test when we get there.

Jazmin our wedding co-ordinator who works for the hotel has told us we just need our passports and our green tourist cards and then the blood test. Jazmin has never mentioned Birt certs.

We haven't been married before and we are not adopted. We are totally stressed about the whole thing! :(

    Hows things going for you?

  4. Hiya Kell,

We're getting married the day after you in Tulum and are having the same concerns regarding what documents are needed.  We were told by Thomas Cook that we needed Birth Certificates translated, certified, etc but our email from Jazmin said that we only needed our passports and tourist cards. We could do without spending £200+ if not needed, but at the minute we were thinking of just doing it to be on the safe side.  Wondering if you had found anything out???
