  1. Ladies, I wasn't gonna post this but  I can't resist. Check out beyond the rack for today's deals on glamorous sandals: http://www.beyondtherack.com/event/showcase/19281

They are so beautiful and sparkly, I wish I didn't buy my shoes yet. They start from 19.99 and some of them are to die for. If you are shoe-crazy like me, you'll love them.

If you can's view them here is the invite link http://www.beyondtherack.com/member/invite/B5923691.

  2. Thanks for posting this site, I love it!!!!

I just want to let you all know, for those of you that are considering getting fans or parasols, anything personalized, or even the sand ceremony set, an awesome site is Weddingfavours.ca

The best part is, they are CANADIAN!!!!  They ship with CanadaPost, I had no real issues with them (1 parasol had a tear, called them, they sent me a new one next day, no cost to me).  I got 60 fans, 11 parasols, personalized napkins, and it all shipped wonderfully.  For those brides in the GTA or Windsor area, the store is located in Ingersoll, Ont and well worth the drive out.  They have all kinds of favours and gifts for parents and bridal party.  Plus then you can actually see what you are buying.  They are super professional, and reasonably priced (seeing as you pay close to the same from the US, plus S&H, plus duty).  Plus it's pretty quick if everything is in stock.

    Good Luck!!!

  3. Tori, you are the best!

I should stop checking this thread, the more I come in here the more my OOT budget is growing

I dont know what those ages are into and could use all the help I could get!!! I picked up "water and beach" stuff at the dollarstore which was a big score but I am thinking more activities and things of interest to those ages...

Alright... now onto the good stuff!!!!

Stopped into michaels today for another DIY project item I needed BUT as usual got extremely sidetracked as they have a TON of clearance stuff right now.  Be sure to check out the different clearance sections all over the store!

Demask Playing Cards and mini notebook with pen.  I will be adding these to the BM bags, and our mom's bags! (Leigh, this is a MUST for your bags!!!!!)

$1.50 each BUUUUT today and tomorrow michaels has 25% off your entire regular priced purchase so these were like $1.12 each!!!!!

    IMG_3353.JPG

2 seashell emry boards (for the moms) $0.75 for 2 AND Manicure sets $0.90  --- we're talking cheaper than the DOLLAR STORE!!!!!

    IMG_3352.JPG

Waterbomb footballs and balls for the kids and FI lol - I picked up a water bomb ball game that has the 2 nets for the kids for in the pool and thought these extra balls would be awesome. I considered picking one of these up for each of the GM as well..... $0.90 each football and the 2 balls for the same!

    IMG_3351.JPG

I also picked up inflatable beach balls for $0.90 as well!!!

ANNNNNNNNNND the big news for those of you that are still needing them..... the SEWING KITS ARE BACK!!!!!!!   I almost missed them!!!  They were in the $1 ($1.50 section here in Canada... boo) right by the cash.  They just put out Christmas/Holiday style stuff in this section and they are in this "collection".  They were in different colours then the brights we had in summer but still just as good!   Green, Off white/yellow, brown, a purplish plum i think and a whole bunch more! Sorry don't have a picture as I didn't need anymore but just had to share!!!

Starting tomorrow there is an online coupon for 50% off any reg priced item AND another for 40% off. BUT remember today (and tomorrow I think... ) there is 25% off your ENTIRE regular priced purchase.  I couldn't find this online but they had the sign up in store so I asked about it and she said you had to download and print it... I had 3 pages of printed coupons that I printed off today and showed her it wasn't in there so she just pulled one out of her til and let me use that!!! Never hurts to ask!! Plead your case, tell them it isnt online anymore and you will get 25% off all these $1.50 items!!!!!

  4. Hi ladies,

I finally went to Bianca Amor Liquidation Store and found a few things. Most importantly I found pashminas for $5.00 and they were a good quality. Here are pictures of other stuff that I found:

Pashminas--$5. They had various colours from whites, to reds, to pinks ... . My fiance doesn't want everyone wearing the same colour so it worked out great for me and I picked out different colours.

    Mini lotion--50 cents                                                                  Body butter--$2.00

    IMG_0275.JPGIMG_0277.JPG

    Feels great foot lotion--$2.00

    IMG_0279.JPGIMG_0274.JPG

    Thermos travel mug--$5.00

  5. OMG!!! That's so awesome! Good job, I can only imagine how excited you were :)

I was drooling over the purses and wallets at the Roots store in the mall...the girl and I were chatting, and I happened to see a box of travel-size Aveeno lotions (which I LOOOOVE and use all the time) next to the till with a sign saying "free samples".  I said, "are these really FREE?"...and she said, "yes, take as many as you want!".  I made some kind of comment about "you may be sorry you offered..." and explained about our DW and the OOT bags.  She said, "just a second, we have tons of them" and went to the back and brought me a whole box...EEEEEP!  I could hardly contain myself.

Anyway, if you happen to be at a Roots store this week, take a snoop around...it never hurts to ask!

  7. My dress is white, the website describes them as white so I really hope they are white as I want RSVP ones now :). I am in the same category as you are :)

  8. Thank you for sharing this important info Kelly. I've made my mind after reading your post. I am going with RSVP!

those are the ones I went with, but it took a couple tries to find a pair that didn't rub the top part of my foot:

  10. I did check the reviews also hoping it'll help me, but both were really good so it made it more difficult :). I haven't tried them on and will be ordering through zappos.

Hey MJKH, thanks for letting me know about the date, I didn't realize I had it wrong :). Congrats on your wedding! We are staying at GS the second week after everyone leaves :).

You are right about the second one, they are white white. I didn't even think of it. It's so hard to make a decision on shoes, I wish I could just get both of them but I can't justify it right now :).

Shoe wise, my vote is for #2!  They're WHITE white, whereas the ones on top are a little warmer...right?  The only other thing to consider is that they say a shoe without an ankle strap makes your legs appear longer and leaner.  But I love the ones with the straps!

Thank you for your input ladies!!!!

  11. I haven't been on this thread for so long and there was so much great info to catch up on. You ladies rock!!! Love, love this thread.

Luvmoo, my fiance yesterday said that he needs to look at everything that I've bought already and our budget before I buy anything else :). I distracted him and still haven't shown anything :). Men do not understand how much fun OOT bags can be and how addicting this thread is :)

  12. Hi ladies,

My fiance and I finished our "thank you" cards last night. It was so nice to make them together and he was so much help. The whole process was just amazing as we made them together. So, I thought I'd share some pictures with you. I searched this site a lot while getting some ideas of how to make them, so in case you need more ideas on how to make yours here are some pics:

    DSC00009.JPGDSC00010.JPGDSC00011.JPGDSC00012.JPG

I got the supplies from Michaels and walmart and everytime I went to Michaels I took a printable coupon with me. Highly recommend googling some coupons for Michaels before you go :).

The magnets I ordered from Vistaprint and they were free, I just paid for shipping.

For the embossed corners of the magnets we used the sizzix embossing machine. We are both in love with it as you can buy various embossing folders for it and make your own cards. I don't think I am buying any cards anymore, we'll be just making our own from now on :). The sizzix I got from amazon.com for $35.00 I think + shipping. I also saw one at Michaels for $48.00. I've used it for will you be my bridesmaid cards and they turn out pretty good as well.

Hope this will give you ideas for your cards!
