RyGuysBride, are you sure you understood the WC correctly? From everything I've heard, the chairs from the ceremony with covers/sashes are moved into the restuarant for the reception dinner, whether its a private dinner or not. It will really stink if that's not the case

ok ladies I'm officially a future Rose Hall bride ...but I'm getting married at the Beach resort because the Suites are booked for weddings the entire month of November except for the 3rd!
I'll be at the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Nov 11 - 18, 2011 and our wedding is booked for the 14th

Yes, that would be really cool if we are there at the same time! But it doesn't seem very likely since most of the dates were already taken back at Christams time! Looks like I may have to be a 2012 bride if I wanna get married at IRHS! I'm still waiting on a response from Nicole.

thanks for the info, pintsize! The date I requested is a Monday (Nov 14). I guess all I can do is wait & see, hopefully Nicole won't take too long to respond. If it isn't available I'll have to push out the date to December or January, but I'd really love to be married before the holidays!

hi ladies, I'm hoping to get married at IRHS in November of this year. I emailed Nicole earlier this week to request a date, but from reading this forum it sounds like it may be a while until I recieve a reply. Does anyone know of any dates that are already taken in November? thanks

This is my plan also! Saving the cake for the bonfire is a great idea! But Silvia told me that Uncle Tony's doesn't open until 7:00. Also, in the wedding documents, it states that dinners are expected to be over in 1.5 hours. And the disco opens up at 10:30 pm. So, I have a gap that I may need to fill in with something:
4:30-7:00: Ceremony, toasts, pictures
7:00-8:30: Dinner @ Uncle Tony's
8:30-9:30: Bonfire at Beach
9:30-10:30 ?????
10:30: Disco
I may move the hour 'break' after dinner, change out of my dress and have everyone meet at the bonfire at 9:30, not sure!
