  1. Thanks! I just received a reply. Here's what she quoted me (USD):

                 Bride's bouquet  Smaller bridesmaid's bouquet

    no. 3     $65                          $55

    no. 4     $75                          $65

    no. 10   $85                          $75

    no. 21   $65                          $55

    no. 39   $75                          $60

    Bouquets nos. 3, 10, 21 and 39 are nos. 161, 71, 163 and 131 in the hotel's brochure, respectively.

The hotel charges $5 more for the same bouquets, but the prices Tai Flora provided don't include taxes or the delivery fee, so I guess it would come to about the same.

  2. Awesome! I can't wait to see them! I have no idea what to put in mine, aside from info about the hotel and a map of the resort. I did find drink menus on Palladium Addict, I think I'll print out copies for my guests.

I'm thinking about Canon in D too, such a pretty song. I found a few slow songs that might work, but I'm not sure yet. I want something more upbeat for the recessional though - to put people in party mode :-) I'm thinking of having our first dance at the site immediately after the ceremony since we won't be having a private reception, so I have to find a song for that too.

Still haven't finalized the Steel Band playlist.  Actually, no where close! LOL All I know is Canon in D when I walk down the aisle.  I think I will just have them play what they want to.  Soft, mushy songs when guests are getting to their seats and then fun songs after the ceremony.  Gotta have them play The Tide is High LOL.  Have you picked out any yet?

Same boat.  Nothing really to do... currently I'm working on the OOT bags and Pre-Travel Brochure.  I'm still waiting for the new wedding packages to come out.  I emailed her late last week and still haven't received a reply.  Have you heard anything about them yet?

What have you already planned for the wedding?  For instance, she has us for the Blue Lagoon with a DJ and the fire show, as well as Steel Drums for the ceremony.  I believe I told her what restaurant we want the food to be from, but haven't told her the menu.  I guess I won't expect to start working with her till about 2 months out.  I just want to find out the new packages, so I know if I need to bring stuff down with me!

What are you putting in your pre-travel brochure? Did you pick the songs the Steel Drums are going to play?

  4. I wrote to [email protected] (the one that appears on the brochure I received from the hotel) and twice via the form I found on their website. Do you have another one?

When I asked how much bridesmaid's bouquets would cost, here is what the hotel quoted me for smaller versions of a few bridal bouquets that are included in the wedding package I chose (Ruby):

    148: 4 roses USD40.00.

    156: USD60.00

    161: USD60.00

    162: USD60.00

    164: USD 60.00

They also charge $40 for a bag of petals!!

I wanted to compare with Tai Flora's prices, but they won't answer me.

When I asked if I could choose the colour of the flowers they put on the cake, they told me I would have to pay for those as well. After receiving a picture of the cake from Nathalie, I figured they would be included. Grrrr! There seems to be unexpected charges for nearly everything! You can't even get coloured bows on the chairs at the ceremony unless you pay for them ($3 US each).
